Thank you, I love to hear stuff like that, but I just can't see this truck winning the Ridler award with this truck. I do have a truck that I plan to take the Ridler withBeast wrote:This thing is super super slick!!! Just looked at the whole thread. That's tons of work for so little time. Hopefully one day I can have all the tools to do sick stuff like this. Very creative hat's off to you overkill! I think you just blew the doors off any of chip foose's builds lol

Yeah you'll need a really shiny car to win that one. I'm sure you'll have no problem making a car of that quality though.

Looks awesome man especially the paint . Satin is harder to make look right than gloss is and alot of folks dont realise how hard it is to get right
. Gloss can be scuffed and buffed if needed satin you either get it right or sand it and start over .

Absolutely killer job. Gald you shared in this forum. Think your build would be a great 1 hour tv show.
Would also like to suggest this would be the perfect truck for "October" if another Slick 60 Truck calendar is put together.

Insane truck, love the time you clearly invested here. We'll be seeing this one in magazines soon!

Thanks! But I've tried to get magazines to bite on this one and they don't seem interestedHawaiiKid wrote:Insane truck, love the time you clearly invested here. We'll be seeing this one in magazines soon!
Re: 65 rat truck build lots-o-pics
I find that really hard to believe man-not even stuff like the Classic Truck mags? I just saw a (very well done, granted) 64 F100 with a Lightning swap on the front cover, with the amazing twin turbo Y-block four-eye F100 and a few other shorter features of various 60s/early 70s F100s in the last one I grabbed. Seems like we own the hottest truck on the scene (people got sick of seeing the mid 50s everywhere I guess), may just need someone to see it at a show or two! Vegas has gotta have some good places to roll that thing out to, and maybe take a couple trips out to LA/Orange County or south to San Diego. This needs to be seen, its one of the craziest (the the best way!) 60s F100s out there!Ovrkill5150 wrote:Thanks!
