***NOT MINE***

Dual Side Draft Carbs S.U. 2 inch - $300 (Thornton)

I have a set if 2 inch S.U. side draft carbs completly rebuilt. they were originally in a 1966 Jaguar. They are currently mounted on a custom made intake and exaust manifold for a Ford 215 or 223 straight 6 cylinder. A lot of old school Rodders used these in the old days to make thier six cdylinders run well and increase horse power How cool would this look on your Rat Rod or old 6 cyl pick up.

Looks like a choice between multiple carbs and power brakes. Personally I'd go for the multiple carbs, but that's me. I like the feel of the mechanical brakes.

Boy, you guys came up with a great selection of multi-carb manifolds. Making me rethink removing my stock 223 for a Y-Block. I PM'd the guy on the H.A.M.B for pictures. At $650 for a newly "built" 223 with the Clifford isn't bad at all.

Oh well, I guess I will just stick with the original plan... 302 and a T5.

You can put a T-5 behind a 223 you know.

Still working out the measurements with the seller. I think if I get rid of the booster bracket it might just fit.

Good deal. Think losing the booster would be a good trade-off for the carb setup. Keep us posted.

oh hell yes. i'd give up power brakes for that. i wish i had a 223 to run that on. although, it probably wouldn't be hard to source a couple su's and have a welder fab up an intake for the 240.
