Looks good, though I tend to ignore ads with no price posted.

I agree on the price thing. At least give an idea of what you're expecting and negotiate from there. On the other hand, it looks like a pretty nice truck. If the topper has been on it for a long time there could be a nice bed under there.
If you understand what you’re doing, you’re not learning anything.

Even in excellent condition, old iron does not command premium prices. No PS, PB, AC, or the other creature comforts that people have come to expect in a driver means that these vehicles appeal to a limited market. Yes many sell for 25k, the only problem is it cost 40k to make it worth 25k.

The original post has got to be a real bargain. Are you on your way yet, Darren? Tom, this one looks to be a little better than driving cross country for one!

Paul - As soon as I heard $500 was very much motivated. Called all day today (Thursday) and finally got through. They said it is sold to friend of their son who is supposed to come Friday. I told them if he does not show I'll be there Saturday.

Brendan - nice find!

Sounds like a pretty smart lady to me! She could have listed her price, and fought off a bazillion calls from C/L readers for the next few months. I suspect she was more interested in finding the truck a good home than in financial gain! Wish there were more like her!
