ID tranny by shifter location

Post by bmcgc »

The guy selling this truck says the engine is an FE and the tranny is a 4 speed, but it does not have a "granny" low.

As you can see the shifter is located way back from the normal location in a F series.

Any idea which tranny it could be based on this information.

Engine is an FE.
4 speed.
No granny low.
Location of shifter.

Maybe it's a car four speed?

Could be an Orion 4 Over, based on the toploader.
