For starters, it's a '65 F100, 300 six, 3 on the tree, 2wd, bone stock. Bought brand new in Richland, WA by my great grandfather, passed down to me via grandfather and dad.
Recently I sold off my daily driver as I got tired of messing with it, and have begun driving the truck 24/7.
Lately, I've done:
-complete engine tuneup
-all new drum brakes up front
-all new shocks
-completely clean out all the crud built up in the body/under cab (only rust is drivers side floorboard and drivers passenger fender corner)
-tear into every nook and cranny or this thing, making minor reliability fixes as I find issues
Coming up soon:
1: 16" wheels that will accept the stock dogbowl hubcaps, and offset the rears out to match front track width
2: front disk brake swap (still gathering parts)
3: 5 speed swap from 3 on the tree (tranny from an early '90s Fseries with same engine)
And, I just recently drove it from Tacoma WA to San Francisco CA and back. Took the coast on the way down, it drove perfectly the whole way. Engine runs like a watch. Only issue was a darn flat tire.

Any recomendations on tire/wheel combo's that will clear disk brakes? I was planning on ordering the wheels custom from Stockton.
