(there are new managers above the lady we deal with and that is why the 2 rates. She is working on making them all the weekday rate since it is so close to the end of their busy season)

the Official dates are Aug 21st ( Thurs ) through Aug 24th ( Sun ) but many will be there on the 18th ( Monday ) and arriving all through the week.

We have 90% of the hotel reserved for us. they have a total of 60 rooms I think. When we fill them up I can get us rates at another close by


When you make your reservations make sure you ask for a room on the East side of the building so you can look out over all the festivities.

We will have the grass area on the east side of the building again and as long as it isn't raining we will be set up there just like before.

The Iowa State fair will be ending on Aug 17th so if you want to come in a little early you can attend that also if you like, Lynn we will see you in time for the fair.

Come early and enjoy, like I said there will be quite a few who show up on Mon or before so be the next one to make reservations as I already made ours.

A little help please.

I was going then canceld my plans....well now I am going again. I just called the hotel and they have no rooms left is there a back up place to stay at a reasonable price?
