Just stumbled across the forum wanted to share my truck. Ive had this for about 7 years and have had short bursts of enthusiasm but more recently ive really been putting some hours in to try and get it finished before my wedding. Started off with a 351c which had been rebuilt. I had a 7.3idi parts truck and a couple years ago pulled the 351 in favour of the 7.3 and newer zf5. Just put new tires on it a couple days ago 315/75/16 geolander m/t. Ive also swaped out the one piece column and steering box for a box and column out of a 1978 f250 4x4 with power steering. This box is mounted infront of the axle rather than behind to make room for the 7.3 exhuast manifold.

Welcome and nice looking truck. Looks like you've done quite a bit of work on it. Keep up the great work.

welcome

did you have issues getting the 7.3 between the frame rails, i heard they did not fit in the narrower frame without mods

glad to have another 4x4 here

Ya it was tight getting it in moving the steering box in front of the axle made room for the left exhuast manifold and i had to remove the factory crossmember.
