What's the consensus on the reproduction radiator support (C2TZ16138G) that's out there. Any good? Correct sheetmetal thickness? Actually FITS properly?
Those who have used one please chime in!

Re: Repro Radiator Support Quality
one thing I noticed is that where the upper grill supports mount at the bottom on original used clips, repo just threads into the tawain metal so how is that going to work < NOT >, I would just drill a hole through the bottom and put not/bolt to hold it in place

Re: Repro Radiator Support Quality
I used one because my original was too far gone for me to fix. My truck is a 66 so i had to do some Mods to make it work. I'm sure the originals were better but sometimes you have to use what you can get.

I hope they are better than the repo unibody tailgates. They are as thin as paper.
Every day above ground is a good one

Re: Repro Radiator Support Quality
For someone close to California, my son has one off a 61 that was bent in an accident on passenger side.
I am pretty sure there is no rust. some of you guys are doing ten times more work fixing them than it would take to straighten this one. not sure what he wants for it... but I do know he is looking for the inner two+ inches of the swb flare fenders if someone has a messed up set sitting on a wall
