You old guys had an advantage there. Those were mostly before I was even around! 62%, like Brian said, pretty well got the brand, not so much the year!

Just how old do you think we are? I missed a very few out of the total but didn't look at the % Missed like 5 out of all the questions. Saw one or two I would have liked to own.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
Ice, I know I'm older than dirt, you don't have to remind me. My body reminds me everyday . Going to reach the next plateau this years, the big 70 .I figure another 10 years before they haul the carcus off to be burned. Hopefully I will be dead when that happens. Trying my best to not buy any more projects. hard to do, I'm an addaholic with a weak willpower. My kids will hate me when I die. I can see it now. What the hell was he thinking and what the hell is it? I did let the in the car crank shaft grinder go a few years ago. Rare item but not very practical even in the 30's when it was made. Had to raise the car up , drop the pan, disconnect the rod and get the rod and piston out of the way. Mount the grinder on the crankshaft, and put the motor to turn the wheels , put it in gear and start the process. Showed it being used on about a 1939 Plymouth. Weird because the whole car had to be off the ground and the grinder hung down below the motor about two foot. The rear wheels turned the engine by use of the motor provided for this. Grinder was calibrated for thousands of an inch adjustment. I've only seen one, I had it. Real Rube Goldberg item, came in a wooden crate and took up a lot of space.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
83%, but since I am older than rich (73) and had drivers license since the 50's I drove most of them at my uncles salvage yard late 50's and 60's.
It was not unusual for him to buy the complete back row at used car lots and we would drive them to yard.

If restoring a ford was easy, chevy guys could do it.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
83% mostly wrong year. I did hit the wrong button and called the Studebaker a Hudson. Looks like Slick4x4 is giving me a pass though.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
62% mostly missed the years. The hard ones were from the WW2 years they were so close before and after.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
I got a 57%. I knew the Fords and recognized the bed fenders on the Studebaker trucks. I had no idea about the years on the other pre war stuff, and I didn't even know that Hudson made trucks until I took the quiz.

Re: Do you know your pick-ups?
76% like others mostly missed years, couple of brands.
I know too many chevy guys that owned or own similar trucks.
So I did get all the chev's .

57%, my dad would be so disappointed. He loved his old trucks and would have likely gotten near 90% correct.
