Hey guys been a long time since i came here for a little help because i am ACTUALLY WORKING ON MY TRUCK!!
anybody know where i can get these header collectors ONLY ????like circled in the pic below?
They're for the mustang shorty headers I have on my truck (302)
Its real noisy with just headers and I want to put the flowmasters I bought a while ago on some header collectors
(temporarily with some clamps) to quiet it down a bit and keep the neighbours from forming a lynching committee
until i get the truck to a point where i can drive it to the muffler shop and get real exhaust done.
Best would be to grab some from a muffler shop that took off an old mustang system but i have no idea how to get that lucky.
any other ideas?

Summit has them for $95 I think. Try searching for "302 downpipe"

Re: Mustang shorty header collectors
Those look like they would fit stock manifolds. I have shorty headers exactly like the second picture in my original post above. They point down at about 45 degrees where the collectors connect. Thanks anyway.

Ohh I see. Sorry about that. Yea maybe you will have to make your own because the only other place I've ever seen them is when they come with a purchased x pipe.

Talk to the muffler shop. Guy here had the tooling to make the bell ends on his bender.

Re: Mustang shorty header collectors
I wonder who at a muffler shop is gonna know what ball size and collector bolt up will work for mustang shorties
i would need to take the truck in or the headers off I figure
neither of which solves the problem. if i was taking it in for a full exhaust system maybe
but this is a temporary fix just to stop the neighbours from forming a lynch squad.
