Re: 64 project "Money Pit"
Been a while since I've posted but I'm still kicking. Wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I've been slowly making progress towards my own shop. I have picked up a 52" Tennsmith box and pan metal break, a 52" Tennsmith foot shear, a Rockwell metal lathe and an arbor press. I've also built a cart for my 175 plus mig. Doing a little sanding on it now and hope to paint it this weekend. I'll try and post some pics once it is done. If I ever get my shop built I should be good to go. Hoping to dig the footings for the new shop in about 3 months. It'll be a pay as I go project so it may take a bit to complete but I'm getting there slowly. I'm ready to get back started on the truck. Watching you guys post the progress on your builds really gets my fingers itching to cut and weld something. BTW, I did finally find a shop to tig up my fuel cell. It's there now. Hopefully will have it back in about a week.

Sounds like some quality fab equipment, Red! It looks as if my options are filtering down to enrolling in a metal trades class; hopefully one with a fairly loose cirriculum.
Happy New Year to you, too!
