dakota chassis
dakota chassis
Anyone tried putting a slick cab on the dakota chassis? I just bought a dakota for the suspension swap and was just wondering if there would be any advantages or if anyone had done it. The wheel base is not an issue for my project nor is the rise over the rear diff. Wondering more about the engine to fire wall clearance. Doesn't look to be an issue eye balling it but?

Re: dakota chassis
Someone did it once apon a time in TN. They said there was a bunch of Fab work that had to be done. I do think it is posted somewhere on slick60s. It is way easier to do the Dakota weld in Cross that make the frame work. That is about all I remember.
