Does your truck have the large C4TE-G bell housing and 15" flywheel? I know a man looking for a steel replacement but he nor me has located a sorce for new flywheels.

I know of a place that most likely has used flywheels.

Second large and small spring were missing.Heres one that didn't get away....

5:45pm.....disc,pressure plate,throw out bearing and transmission all back in,tomorrow finish up all the misc.

Progress Report:
My helper and called it quits last nite after spending an hour or more trying to get the two bell housing to cross member bolts to align.Went out at 6:15 am with my very large ratchet strap.Hooked one end to front bumper then back around tranny,then back to the bumper.Pulled engine forward 3/8" both bolts are now in and secured.Took about 30 min by myself.......thunderstorms are now here......will finish when they leave

The breakdown happened Tues.afternoon,had it apart and back together by Wens.evening.Rained out Thur.buttoned up all the misc. this morning and drove it around 1:00..... clutch kit $108.00,tranny jack rental $30.00,helper 6 hrs.$120.00 and a total screw job tow $200.00...less than 20 miles...whatta ya goin do...Oh well,been over ten years since the last one...just call it maintenance and my way of making the roads of Kansas City beautiful..

Sorry to hear about your luck Dan. I have AAA because I drive older, high mileage vehicles and sometimes need a tow. I've more than made my annual subscription back every year. This year none so far but I'm willing to accept that as it means - NO BREAKDOWNS!

Glad to hear you got her back and running down the road. Slick on my brother!
