Hi guys,
I am working on finishing up the CV swap in my 64 and am debating now on a rear end. I have a 3.73 limited slip rear end with low miles and no rust from a 1998 Expedition. The current axle in the 64 is a Dana 44 LS 3.73.
I am wanting to do a TCI 4 link and was wondering if this would be compatible. I know I will have to redrill the hubs and rotors and lathe the hubs down to work with the 5x4.5" pattern, but should this be okay other than that (and having to resize the 4 link brackets for the 3.25" axle housing)? I know the Explorer is a bit narrow so I was hoping this would be a bit better. Plus, its bigger and FREE!
Thanks for your thoughts!
