Decided to tear down my extra autolite 1101 to rebuild. The one on my truck has a leaky throttle shaft so I'd like to rebuild this one to switch them out.
Will these two damaged areas cause issues if I rebuild it?
Under accelerator pump...
Bottom side of upper body...
The throttle shaft on this carb also has some play. It looks like there's no bushings on it at all?

Re: Autolite 1101 rebuild questions
I don't think either of the damaged areas would cause any problems.
The circle casting at the accelerator pump is there to help enter the diaphragm spring. If it's too banged up to seat the spring, you might file on it a bit to allow the spring to seat.
The area in the venturi also shouldn't pose any real issues. You could probably use a file to clean it up, but it shouldn't cause any problems as it is.
