That's so cool. I'm internet famous and didn't even know it. I don't know how my truck got on that guys Instagram, he isn't local.

The truth is I don't really know how all that Instagram really works. LoL

Nic: The instagram guy most likely poached the pic from this thread where you originally posted it

(see second post in the thread)

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36882

EDIT:I just went back & looked @ the Instagram pic, and it's a different shot (his is a front shot, yours is from the back to show the load??
So someone must have taken a shot & posted it somewhere

Nic: In your case someone took the photo and posted it to their own account, after which Unibody Union saw it and reposted it.

I've noticed some of our other members are active on there as well, and there are a lot of other projects I've never seen before. Seems our trucks have gained a lot of popularity when I wasn't looking.

Your right! It seems they have gained popularity with everyone except my wife.

This Instagram is a strange thing, I guess like Facebook too. I clicked around and found the original poster. A guy named Adam from Edmonton. The dudes whole life is on there... LoL. I think him and I would get along.

Even the longbeds are getting some love these days. They posted an image of another truck a while ago that came from an old album on FTE, that I presume they located through an image search. After some clicking I was able to determine that it was from Saskatchewan, and was in fact a truck that a friend gathered some parts off before it got crushed (probably 10 years ago now). At that time longbeds were plentiful and therefore not worth much (Merc or not) since prairie farmers didn't have much use for shortbeds.
