Two inch body drop
Two inch body drop
So, I've got my 2" body drop finished, and I have to say I'm quite pleased with it. After two years of crawling under and over my truck planing this I'm DONE...well almost, still have some loose ends to hook up. Putting new gaskets on the headers and stuff. So heres a pic of it ,

I like it! Looks great! I have considered doing the same to my shortbed '64. Did you photo-document what you did? Would you share some info on how you did it?
Re: Two inch body drop
that's a nice stance.not too low like a lowrider but lower than stock, nice job.
Re: Two inch body drop
I like it also. Just right.
Re: Two inch body drop
Thanks for the comments. No, sorry didn't photo it. But I will sit down and write a brief description of what I did. Its not for the faint of heart

Thanks Robert....that's what I was expecting..."not for the faint of heart".....(my heart is strong...lol...)
Re: Two inch body drop
When you get the stance of a Slick just right....nothing else matters
I love it, you're about a 1/2 lower than mine. Your sure to get some thumbs-up. BUT if a man is missing his thumbs, watch out for the whirly bird......

The pic above is what the cuts in the bed look like before doing the finishing work. Thinking about a wood floor, or maybe a wood bed cover...
The battery is just sitting there, its mounted under the bed in that same location to the frame rail using the original battery box.
