Dennis Carpenter has a double shive damper listed

It does not matter what you think, it only matters what you do about it!

Unibody can you shoot me a link, I didn't see one for a Y-Block, maybe I just didn't know what to look for or one of the others is a cross and didn't mention the 292.unibody madness wrote:Dennis Carpenter has a double shive damper listed

Re: 292 Harmonic Balancer
Brand new or rebuilt is what you want. If you get used or NOS, plan to send it out for a rebuild.
There are usually 2 brands listed on ebay which are a direct replacement, Powerbond, which is a slightly more modern styled billet damper and another from Mexico which looks more stock but does not have the timing marks on it so you will have to mark it and it could be tricky to do that accurately, depending on your skills and tools available.
There is another you'll probably see from Innovators West but it is more performance oriented and requires a lot of work to install because of pulley positioning and possible engine bracket interference.
