1961 Transmission speedo gear

Post by Wcollier »

I have a 61 f100. The warranty tag says it has the med duty transmission, but after inspection identification shape of the side load plate indicates it’s the light duty transmission. In my work manual the speedo gear for the light duty looks way different than the one that’s there. Does anyone have a picture of the correct style speedo gear and possible speedo cable connection at the transmission

I go to the LMC Catalog on their website
To look at pics , to figure things out sometimes
....
Just type in "LMC catalog " and it will come up
Type in make. , model & keyword .....
This might help

Yeah the speedometer gear in the bottom of the pic is what’s in the transmission now. Guess that means the gear and cable are wrong. Thanks
