Building some shelves for storage
Went out & got in the F350
Hadn't drove it since thanksgiving
Push on the gas , pulled out choke , fired Right up
Drove into Salina ... about 15 miles to Lowes hardware
The. Speedometer quit working a while back
Colleen asked "how fast are you going ?"
I said 47mph ....
"How do you know that ?"
Check it with your phone....
She did ...... 47 mph .... its "sweet spot"
....
Anyway I got the lumber & 4'x8' sheeting
2 nice men loaded it in the F350 with the 9' ft bed
Guy says " uh oh ! ... something's wrong with this plywood !"
I asked him is it too short
"Must be a factory screwup... it hasn't been cut"
How. Long is it ? I ask
He pulled out the tape measure .... uh... 8' foot ?
"How come this bed is so long ? "
Heck if I know ... is it longer than normal ?
Sometimes a guy can be ornery can't he ?
