Slick on a cover magazine with nothing to do with trucks

Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

Since we are older got our new AARP Magazine in which is for 50 and older and here Kevin Costner on front cover with a 66 truck in the back round and inside the magazine his saddle is strung over that same truck bed side, just neat to see some trucks like this and might be his favorite on the ranch or using it in the Yellowstone Series on Paramount but not for all to watch since it can rough on the range in Montana so some strong situations

He does have a Ranch some where out there, just wondering if the photos are from his ranch ?? had to read the article again to see if it said so, but did not, This makes me think of that Movie with Robert Redford teaching his granddaughter to drive that slick Mercury Truck in the field

As far as I know he does not have a ranch in Montana. Used to own one in South Dakota where he tried raising Buffalo much to the dismay of surrounding cattle producers. He does have a "ranch" in Aspen Colorado although 160 acres ain't much of a ranch. He has bought a piece of property in Missoula to move 100% of the filming of Yellowstone to Montana. Not impressed with the show myself just soft porn in my opinion and beneath what Costner is actually capable of.

I would say that is a prop truck, you wouldn't ever pull a trailer, back into the cattle lot or barn...haul hay, Or much else with peep mirrors on the doors.... Useless for all above purposes.

Now the door seals being cut off at half way around the door.... That might be farm truck like... But torn off at so high on the door would be more accurate...

And in the show he drives a Dodge. You'd also be surprised what people drive here on the farm. I pulled many trailers with mine when it was a daily driver with the 4 inch mirrors not much bigger than those 3 inch peep mirrors never backed into anything.

most of the people drive Dodges since main money backing company is Dodge,, But Casey drives a 92-97 Ford Super Duty in the beginning of the show when first started,, OH Yes I see what your talking about the peep mirrors now,,, maybe its a members truck getting paid to have it photograph :?:
