16 inch wheel replacement

Post by busboy »

I hesitate to ask because I know I’ve seen the answer here before but I can’t find it. What Ford van wheels will replace the 2 piece 16 inch wheels on my 65 F -250?
And will the 69 F-250 hubcaps fit the van wheels?

1976 thru 200? Model years, E250, E350, E450 should have 16" wheels with the 8 on 6.5 pattern.
Some of the early years may have 16.5" wheels...

Yes your 3/4 ton hubcaps will fit...

Note: supplying manufacturers may have changed over that large of a span of time.
So mixing and matching years may show slight style/stamping changes...

:2cents:

Would your current wheels be of the inney or outie variety?
Actually in bad shape, or just can't find a tire place that isn't terrified of a two piece rim.

They are the original two piece 16 inch. I can't find the innie bottleap hubcaps for them that are the original type. I have one hubcap. I can change tires on them but tubeless radials are so much easier to just put a plug in.

If you have the storage space for them, Don't trash the original wheels, there is a small but fervent market for them.

I have bought my inney hubcaps one at a time reasonably on eBay....
