very nice in general... but it's got the accursed filthy 223... I would have a hard time deciding that I would drive it home, based on photos... We drove my truck home, scariest drive of my dad's life... he's experienced some pretty bad vehicles, but Aggie had them beat...

still for 5 large I'd be ahead of where I am now on my truck
I bet I have $3500 in mine total and it looks the same as the day I bought it.
Assuming its not full of bondo 5k looks attractive to a guy with a truck like mine. Too bad I couldn't live with the color (at least inside)

WTF this ate my post. Shades of MSn this AM as I am losing posts and getting mysterious double posts all over
Anyway nice truck, good candidate for a CV conversion. Nice orig shape too, but I bet the guy has to come down at least a G to sell it.

My Uni is just like that truck, except with 4 on the floor. Everything else is identical. Even the rear bumper looks like the one on my truck. Of course mine is in pieces now :p
Maybe my truck will be all dolled up....some day. Still looking for an '03+ Crown Vic front suspension.

That avatar is killing me!
Great looking truck, I'd happily drive the crap outta that thing! Surely the scissor jack isn't original...is it?

If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

The original jack for our years of trucks is a screw type bottle jack with a foldable "speed wrench" type handle. Funny thing is that if your tire is completely flat, the jack will NOT fit under the axle to jack up the tire!

Yeah, im not that interestedin inflated prices for our coolest of cool ford trucks, i like being in the $1500-$3500 range for a nice runner. That was a very clean and desirable uni, although all the nobs were missing thier dots!

serious. I don't want to have to pay out the butt for a slick like say a nice '56 is currently going for... Although, if the average pricetag for a slick suddenly went thru the roof, we already possess ours, and it would make for resale value.... I don't care about resale though, and I still have parts I want to scavenge, so I hope it just waits a few years.
I hope people take a while to obsess about the trucks that WE already know are about the coolest there are...
