What's under the plastic?

Post by Uncle Skip »

Well guys, I did mention that my new part time job included working on cars that, well, have histories.... 8)
Here is the one I thought you would all like to see. It's been under plastic, no blocks, for over 30 years. Sometimes those urban myths turn out to be true.
All completely original. And yes, its a center oiler dual quad 4-speed mammy jammer.
This is what it looked like when we pulled it out into the sunlight.
I'll keep you posted when we start the restoration.
Think I'm a happy camper?
Merry Christmas.

Skip: Thanks for sharing. How much do you pay them to let you work there? Looks like a great restore project.

And that is just the one I thought you guys would like to see. There are more, many more.
Can you believe I'm actually getting paid to do this?
Cash.
American money.
Now, with apologies to the Rolling Stones, all I need is the "Girl with far away eyes" and all my dreams will come true.... well, most of them already have 8)
