I haven't been able to find either a number or a can either. Their site doesn't list it. I did find a little shake stick for touch ups at AZ. (I assumed they would have the spray but didn't when I started looking for it)

Grits,
I'm glad you replied... Is your truck Rangoon Red???

Looking at our avatars.... We don't match... :-)

The vin decoder chart says Monte Carlo Red for '62 but the paint charts say Rangoon Red for '62. I am not sure what to think now.

I did find this
http://store.cal-mustang.com/showdetl-7-3551-19-0.html
down toward the bottom there is rangoon.

It is now (or at least it's very, very close) It was originally Wimbledon White but was this color when I bought it. The touch up stick I bought matched exactly. My body man had the exterior scanned for the color to paint the interior.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't tried the Mustang approach. Knew the early one's used Rangoon Red.

Rangoon Red?? Is this the same red used on the badges and emblems, too??

If not, let me re-phrase; "Does anyone know the name of the red paint color on the hood emblem, etc., on the Slicks"?

I'll second the notion on Sherwin Williams. They have been great mixing colors from paint codes for me. With their paint, reducer and hardener, and an inexpensive $12-20 touch-up gun, you can do a lot of different projects.

Good luck to all.

Dan
