Bio Diesel caution!

I forget who was asking me about bio diesel so I will post what I have from my company International truck. This is self explainatoy as pictures are worth a thousand words.

Working at Roush this week in Detroit about 30 feet from shelbys and gt's getting Roush upgrades! COOL

Hey Wayne our Ford Rep told couple of years ago the if I run BIO Diesel that ALL WARRANTIES WILL BE VOID @ Ford, thanks now I can see why

Lets see? I run bio to save on non renewable resources and then I must use non renewable resources to keep the feel good only BIO solution from making a turd in my filter housing. Seems logical to me!

Anything that claims to do more than one thing usally disappoints!

I agree. The point in the pics wasn't Bio Diesel is bad. The point was at cooler temps (20F (-6C)) it congeals. Water freezes at this temp and fat congeals. Plus it doesn't say whether or not this joker was just pouring in straight fry oil from the fryer, or actually processing it correctly prior to pouring it in his tank.

On a side note, still manufacturer related, My neighbour has a new Land Rover (owned by Ford). When the weather started getting cold last week, He called the dealer to ask were his block heater plug could be found. They told him: "don't worry about it, it's a Land Rover!" Well the temp plumetted to @ -35C (translates to F@#$ing cold in F) and you guessed it, froze up solid. He came knockin on my door for some ideas. After running through some suggestions I told him to take the battery in to thaw overnight. 2 days later, temps had gone up considerably and he was able to jump the vehicle.
My point is, if the manufacturer tells you something, double check it. Just because they made it, doesn't mean they know anything about it. (You create poo on a daily basis, doesn't mean you know what is in it! Simply this means we don't know shit!)

looks just like the 5 gal jugs of used ff oil the wife brings home from work.
not using it as fuel but gets mixed in dog food.

these 2 products work very well. not going to thaw the ff oil but will degel disel fuel very quickly

i have to use the white bottle, 3 oz to 5 gal diesel in my drip heater now because the new low sulphur diesel will not burn properly anymore, this adds to the fuel cost but helps the problem.

In the midst of all the hype lately about fry oil as fuel, I totally forgot about what would happen when it's cold. That pic is funny!

the dogs that stay outside need the extra oil to help keep them warm. it makes a big difference in their coats.

That doesn't look like Bio Diesel to me. That looks like some retard thinking he could stretch his dino diesel by pouring oil straight from the grease-trap in the tank.

GENUINE bio diesel that has been processed via transesterification does not congeal in that fashion.

I've experiemented with my own home made stuff and yes it does congeal at a pretty warm temperature. It doesn't take much winter diesel to prevent that. I can go half and half in the winter without problems, and we get plenty of sub 20 weather in the winter here. Last year we went over a month without the thermometer getting above thirty. Nothing special that far north, but is quite bad here in Texas.

Really they can preach all they want about BIO-DIESEL, But when my truck goes down who's going to pay for it, you, don't think so, sevice station, don't think so, bottom line is I have to and will keep that bio junk out of my tank
