Post by Uncle Skip »

I have been to the mountain (with BroncoTom of course) and I've seen Slick, Oklahoma.
Here's the proof.

Just out of curiosity, did you guys go there just because of the name or did you have other business/pleasure there? Were there any Slicks in town? Nice you see you posting again Skip. How about Slick Andrews?

haha NICE. would be fun to hold slickstock in a slick town, sadly they are both little pigholes.... kansas city will likely be a more attractive city....

I never have understood it though, why a city in missouri would name themselves after its neighbor.... what a loser!

Going to slick in our slick is a goal I want to achieve someday.
We have kinfolk near Tulsa and I thought it would be cool to get a picture next to a road sign there.

Cool pics, I never thought there would be a town named Slick.

Apparently they recently aquired a new fire truck too, leaving the old steed out to brave the elements in the weeds...that's just not right, I tell ya. :(
My "Slickitis" affliction began here...

Just read that Slickville thing.

372 people in .5 sq mile town. They are out in the middle of nowhere and CAN"T SPREAD OUT Whats up with that.
INEPTOCRACY: (in-ep'-toc-ra-cy) : a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

I actually live about 10 minutes away from slickville, just a grouping of houses mainly out in the country. I should go get a pic of the sign with my truck parked in front of it. Why didnt I ever think of that before
