need help ASAP. 66 wiring and diagrams?

Post by Xcessive »

hey guys I'm in a major bind. I NEED my 66 up and running by tomorrow afternoon at the latest. I've run into a snag with the wiring up front. Which wires are what in regards to the park/turn signals?

Also if ANYONE has a decent wiring diagram on here for a 66 that would be awesome. Im in deep at this point and am prolly gonna pull an all nighter on her to get it done.

Thanks for any help.

PS. I have looked high and low trying to find a 66 diagram and cant find anything. Found 67 and 64. Found a 66 ign. diagram but that's it.

Thanks.
Brad

thanks for the help alan. I have that link (posted by you) from a thread that I came along using search. I've finding some things that are throwing me off a bit but I think most of it is hack jobs from the PO.

OK on Berryl the r/hand side has yellow/lt blue and black yellow
l/hand side has green/ltblue and black yellow

so everything being equal blackyellow should be parker's and the others blinkers!, how does that sit with what you've got.

ok sorry alan Im back if you'r still around. Just had to deal with a leaky tun (brand new house go figure). Water started coming out of the fixture for the ceiling fan in the room below the top floor master bath...joy.

Anyhow... those colors KIND of jive lol. The leads coming out of the lamp assemblies are black and white on the drivers side and the passenger is so discolored im having a hard time actually telling the colors there.

I really appreciate you taking the time to help alan Thank you. I'm gonna go see if I can strip the wire a lil bit and get some color.

I have a 66 Diagram

Black/Yellow Parking Light

White/Blue Front Right Turn Signal

Green /White Front Left Turn signal

A little more info;

When you unplugg the Connector coming from the lamp. The connector on the lamp side. The exsposed (Male)terminal is the turn signal wire.

You can see this on the 67 diagram. Color code is the same as the 66.

Alan,
Never heard that one before. I was going by a joke i once was told.

A lawyer called a plumber to get his services and ask what his hourly rate was, the plumber replied $85.00/hour. The lawyer replied i only charge $65.oo/hour, the plumber said, yep thats what i charged when i was a lawyer.
