4x4 I don't have one yet but might come up with something, I`m pretty sure none Ford covers will only be raced down a set of stairs and not on the track , look in slickstock forum for more info. see you there!

Alan,
Honey, If I say I`ll fix something I will, there`s no need to remind me every 6 months!!

You can go to the old site and see the pics. Looks like they are a few of the racers on most of the pages. Go to the link below.

:notworthy:
thanks
looks easy enough to me now
get some wheels, make a chassis, bolt on cover.

i might even try to sneak in a c*e*y cover!
or i could turn it upside down ,and make a flower pot.

The rules at Slickstock are pretty open. In 06 Matt and his son went to a local junk yard and bought one for $10. Then they proceded to go into the hotel dining room and take the wheels off of a dining room chair and stuck them in yhe valve cover and raced it. They had just as mich fun as anyone. Thanks, Lyman.

I think Banjopicker's young daughter had the most fun of all. Banjo had made her a racer with CD's for wheels, the whole premise was just somewhat questionable, but she had a GREAT time. Elaborate? That's the Truckfarmer, who has turned valve cover racing into NASA science. But he never won last time. Banjo's daughter definitely had more fun...
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

'Yo Johnny,

I hate to be like this, but, just for accurancy's sake. The racer with the CD wheels was built by Pastor Jim's father. Banjo's daughter campaigned it at SS-06...Sort of an Ashley Force kinda thing.

Anyway, the CD wheels took a terrible beating that day. The racer itself currently sits on my workbench..It's getting a full frame-off restoration! ;-)

Top Eliminator: Run what ya Brung.

1. Can not harm the track.

2. Must not require an environmental impact study to be filed with the EPA.

3. Must start with a valve cover.

4. No other rules.

I've been wondering, are the top eliminators still limited to gravity propulsion, or can they have a propulsion system??? haha like rockets etc? I could have a lot of fun with a wad of rocket engines....
