I've got an all white factory grille and bumper on a white '62 stepside. My bumper has a spot where someone apparently hooked a chain up to pull it. I was going to to some straightening and paint it, when I began thinking about chroming it.
I'm not a huge fan of chrome, but I believe sometimes it is a nice accent on white. I am also checking into nickel plating, as I think that would give it a period or classic look.
I'm curious which trucks came with a chrome bumper or grille factory? Does anyone have any pics of a white truck with a painted grille to compare? I don't think I could do the chrome grille as well, just too much shine for my taste. Thanks
grille and bumper; chrome or paint?

You might consider chrome headlight bezels also. Would tie the chrome into the grill a little better?
