Icemen VS Rangers

Post by Johnny Canuck »

Well, there seems to be more guys coming from the frozen tundra north of the 49th parallel than there are from the gulf of Mexico.

Canucks without trucks
will number at least 3 members, 4 if we can swear Alan in as a member of the Commonwealth, and he is already used to licking the back of Liz Windsor's head every time he puts a stamp on his mail, anyway. Dean is feverishly trying to get Jinx roadworthy enough to have at least one ex-patriot truck in KC. And of course the Iceman.
So with our wives, that will push our numbers to 9 or so.

The Texans I know are coming are StrongerRatfink, Max, and , of course, Lyman, without whom no Slickstock would be quite complete.
Good thing they only had to travel less than half the distance, to be outnumbered 3 times.. ss_pokes2.gif
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Just don't forget to bring your passports. We have rules here. Prolly make you furiners wear strobe lights or something so we can keep an eye on you too.

Doesn't 1 Texan = 3 Canucks anyway?

Canucks without trucks just stepped up to a full contingent. We snobbish Canadians feel our trucks are too good to interact with common Colonist trucks.

Actually, despite a valiant effort by Dean to get Jinx ready for a 2800 mile round trip, common sense prevailed, in driving a black truck thru the tornado belt in August without air conditioning, and so it breaks down like this:

Ken from Mississauga, Ontario, driving a T-bird
Mark from Hinton, Alberta flying in in a Boeing
Dean from Medicine Hat, Alberta driving a GMC
John from Lethbridge, Alberta in an Acura, which was also at SS1
at least one of us has a Ford. I don't believe it has a Buick engine.

See Y'all there. As you can tell from my Falwell post, I am tuning up my 'Mercun accent. Also been working on my Aussie. Oy mates, see ya there
