Tonneau covers
Tonneau covers
Hey guys, I am having trouble finding a decent cover for my 64. Id like to find a fiberglass or a metal one if possible. I have an air compressor and tank in the bed plus my battery so I want to be able to have something to deter thieves. I was half tempted to try and build one myself but that is a last resort. Just curious if any of your guys have found a place that sells them for the slicks. Mine is a 64 long bed. I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Hey MD,
My fiberglass tonneau cap came from I believe a 2000 Ford 8 foot bed. It over hangs the tailgate a little. But its pretty close. I forget the manufacturer

my 64 has a tonneao off a 01 dodge, I bought it it fit my 05 F150 then when I traded the 05 in fr a 06 I put a shell on the 06 ( I use them for work) and saved this cover because it actually fit my 64 better. I dont know what brand it is. It didnt have any labels on it ( I bought it used) the only thing someone might not like is its a bit narrow on the bed side rails. they are quite qide and it fits towards the center but it curves in towards the front and back this is the best pic I have I think

this is the good side

Cover advice
I have a Gaylord's fiberglass tonneau on my 1965 LWB. It fits perfectly and is simple to get up and down.

I was half tempted to try and make my own out of some 18 gauge sheet metal, I bought a break to make some patch panels for my floor and various other cancer spots. but I figured if im going through all that trouble I mind as well make a reverse mold and make a fiberglass one. But I dont know, its still up in the air, thanks for everything guys
I didn't get any pics but Don's truck and one other had a hard tonneu that has an edging around it. They make for basically anything, name is Checker.Sorry didn't get a pic of one.

That's right, Doug's the other one that cover. I was particularly interested in his & Don's because they would work on a Uni
