air ride

can any one give me a serious answer on how to and were to get a air ride system for a pre i-beam slick?

They don't make an AIR RIDE system per say exactly for a slick but you can use a usual Air ride system but you're going to have to do some fabricating in order to use your straight axle. The typical problem is that you cant completely eliminate the leaf springs because the leafs are what keep the axle from moving side to side. You could run a reversed main spring only and fab a mount on top of the axle for your bag. Im lookin into some possibilities on mine as well. there was a guy on here that was building a new front end for his too out of square stock but i cant find the thread.

No easy AIR installs on a straight axle if thats what your asking.

dont know exactly how I want to do the bags.... that cool crossmember thing wont work I think.... MAYBE it would fit under the high part of the oil pan.... BUt then Id have to get rid of my Block Hugger headers.... GAAA! the trouble of trying to put a truck together one part at a time, with no possible forethought to the future project/issues....
