 Didn't see this thread until this morning, you've probably blown through SLC, huh? Well, at least you had a good weather day to do it. :)

THATS THE Long way I-80 take exit 66 US 30 By Green River brings into to Idaho then to 15, then to 86 then to 84, run that way in all different weather especially winter months gets rid of all that bs by Utah port of entry also less mountains to deal with and they do keep US 30 Clear since its a truck route,, just like going 15 to 90 winter time can get rough but ratherdeal with that then putting up with Cabbage Hill,, in past years ago had more trouble with bad weather in Oregon than in Montana, Idaho Wash. way,, just like dispachers 99% of them might not even stepped in a truck and only go by what is told to them , there puppets, but I know Greg have to go they way they tell you these days, but when we run coast to coast we run the way we felt was the fastest, easiest and less wear and tear on the equipment,, of course these days a good portion of drivers only know interstate roads & rather sit in a truckstop during bad weather or if a bad wreck sit and wait it out, I can say one thing for me never stopped for bad weather/wrecks always made it even if to have run side roads my truck never stopped but of course I was brought up different back when driving a truck was great andwe did whatever it took to get ith there like banging on air chambers -25 in Idaho, banging Ice off at Nebraska scales to get legal, or so cold Kathy using a Ice Scrapper inside the truck,, now you have satellite, computers, trucks with automatics, people telling you where and when to stop sorry still cannot see how the Govt. can say when your tired all people have different sleep habits

Dropped in Kent earlier today, unfortunately my reload is around Yakima. I was really looking forward to meeting some of you from the Seattle area but work can suck sometimes. I am at the Gearjammer truck stop in Union Gap if anyone is close enough for breakfast.
