66 F100 "walks the line"

Post by ras4434 »

My wife and I were watching Walk The Line last night on TV. About 2/3ds of the way through the movie a very pristine 66 F100 drives up in front of Johnny Cash's house. Nice to see something other than a Chevy!!!!!!!!!

I thought that scene was hilarious,, like six people pour out of the cab looks like clowns jumping out of a Mini at the Circus
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

And they all came out of the passenger door, must have done a Dukes of Hazzard on the drivers door.

It wasn't so pristine though. If you look closely you'll see that the weatherstripping is rotten. In the timeline of the movie, that truck would have been less than 2 years old...

That's exactly what I was thinkin' when I saw that. The should have shopped at DC first for new weatherstripping.

That's funny. I thought I was the only one who noticed stuff like that.

I was so shocked to see it in the movie that I missed the more subtle pieces. It had paint, no obvious dents and looked like all of the floor pans were there. Maybe the floors were really rusted like mine and the actors were coming up through the floor and out the passanger side door.
