Im thinking about putting a crown vic suspension in my slick can someone send me as much in as possible?

Also there are a lot of pro's and cons to the set up, so look around and see if it makes sense for your needs.
Also if you are near a member who has done the swap, it can be helpful t o see a truck that has been completed.

I'll add a link to some of the better threads on the topic.
I'll assume you are refering to the aluminum front end assembly that is found in '03 and newer CV's.
With a straight axle truck there is a lot less to remove to get the frame cleaned up for mounting the CV front end, you don'yt have the spring towers etc. But the frame widths etc are about the same eitherway once you remove the extra parts. When you look at some pics you will see it's mostly bolted in, it's aluminum, so you can't weld it directly to the frame, but you do need to box the frame for make it fit and support it, as well as add some plates for the radius arms.

The 80's crown vics are totally different concept than the 2003 and newer crossmember. The older CV's are good for frame swaps on a short straight axel, but wouldn't work well for a long box. The newer crossmembers do bolt in, but also require some welding, there are other possibilities out there too if you are looking at an independant suspension. One of the biggest drawbacks with the '03 crossmember is the negative offset of the rims needed, but it can also be a lot less expensive than some of the other options.
I also do not know how low it will make your truck, and what options are available for them such as air bags, etc. Decide what you want with your truck and talk to some that have done the conversion.

the 80s swap could be done either way.wheelbase is the same as a short uni.heres some pics of how it looks with a frame swap

CROWN VIC CONVERSION
Hey man in my opinion the 2003 and newer solid crown vic subframe is without a doubt the way to go.I installed it in the truck you see in my profile pic.You have to weld 2 very minor brackets for the two rear trailing arms but the rest bolts in.I have put about 600 miles on mine since completion and I have to say I would do it all over again in a heart beat.
I still havn't had time to take any pics of the undercarriage b/c my rack has been full but as soon as I do I will post some more pics.I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.Just shoot me an email.C-ya
