Just got done looking over this thread. Man, I know why I'm so danged tired now.
Well, I will be getting back at her in a couple weeks as soon as hunting season is over. I'll start w/ the roof repair above the windshield. Then I'll move on to the doors and the bed. Will have to recruit my brother again.
The old girl is running great.
I should have posted that video of her running over here. Maybe someone that knows how to do it can put it here where it belongs. I can grind and weld but can't figure out stuff like that.
Just be warned, More progress is on it's way.
Ah, Here's the link for the exhaust.

Merry Christmas Wyatt looking forward to seeing more progress on your 65 4x4. Keep us posted. I did what you said and low and behold I found a truck burried under all that rust and dirt. Take care from one 65 4x4er to another.

Hope everyone had a merry christmas. 2013 is right around the corner. Happy New Year to all. I will be joining the retirement group sometime around May if all goes well. Then Big Betty goes under the grinder and welder again. First thing will be the roof. Then I'll tackle the bed sides and the dented hood. She should be wearing a new dress by fall. So be ready for pics and maybe a video or two.
I want to have her ready for the applefest in October. I will be able to take both Betty and Big Betty. Will let the wife drive Betty. AH, I guess I'll trust her. Much better than my grand-son. He would be there 45 minutes before me
See you all sometime in the spring.

Retirement is right around the corner. Yes there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I can see it now. Big Betty will be under attack again. Cut,grind, weld, paint, cut grind, weld, paint. Something like wax on, wax off. :rocker: The pics will be coming soon. I'm going to have a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!

Retirement is nice. Been working around the house to get caught up on 41 years of neglect. It's been a full week yesterday. Did manage to get Betty out of the garage today and give her a bath. I will be back to posting more pics on Big Betty sometime in the middle of summer. Thanks for checking on me. Hope everything is going well w/ you.
