I was 20 whin the first slicks hit the showrooms , but i was into cars,like 2 door hardtops with performance either factory or souped up by the owner. didnt take interest in pickups till later years

Well My current project a 1972 F100 Sporty custom 302/c4 Is 9 years older than I So any slick i Might buy would be atleast 15 years older than myself.

And I'd be ok with that as long as when i was finished do a tuneup or a full blown rebuild she Was(I know she will) More reliable than a 96 aspire.(don't ask i let the dealer ream me out of a half decent 72 ranger xlt f100:cuss:).

I must have been 22 or3 when the XL roared to life .LOL , both of us have had a ball and been put away wet more then once , I recken ! Only one problem that I can see , She got retired about 40 years ago and "dummy" , here had to keep on keepen on .
