mine is a 63 F250 4x4 custom cab with a 292 and 4 speed in carribean turquois, which was a plow and service truck at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe resort for many years....currently being disassembled for a full restoration, as it was quite rusty....I just picked up correct NOS 4x4 inner and outer fenders for it, and have a rust-free hood, cab, and core support from a donor truck....cant wait to get it done, its a cool looking truck....

I've got a 62 F-250 4 X 4 with a 292. It's all factory and all there (as best I can tell!) I'm told it was used as a line service vehicle for the Tennessee Valley Authority back in the day.

Hey slicksters Im new to this group as of today. I own a 63 F350 factory 4x4 the side trim shows a F250 when I purchased it. The door tag shows F350. Anyway I bought the truck many years ago and started a body off resto. Lots of water under the bridge and now Im ready to get going on it again. The original cab and bed where scraped for an F100 body of the same year. My other fords are a 98F150 xlt with 4.6ltr and 2001 explorer sport track. I will include pics as I figure out more about this web page and where to and how to get around here. I was on the Msn web page for the northwest chapter but did not contibute much there. Nice to meet everyone here.

Hi Everyone,
I just signed up here today, and I will properly introduce myself once I get some pictures up.
I have a 1965 F250 4x4. Has only 17,000 miles on it
It was a fire dept truck, and I bought it on eBay from the second owner. I just got it at Christmas and have not had it on the road yet.
352, 4:56 traction loc and 17 leaves in each rear spring!

OK, the pics are out there in my user gallery. I don't have very many good ones yet, and a couple of them are the pictures the seller took for ebay. Once the weather gets warm (In June

) I'll take some better pictures.
Thanks for looking!

Thats a good looking truck it just need some new wheels. I bet you have less money in that truck than I do. At least you can drive yours my truck has been torn down 3 years the first of this month. Maybe I will get it done this year.

YES! I hate the wheels. Oddly enough, when I bought my 72 it had the same wheels on it. I was able to find some take-offs from a newer model and go back to the stock look.
I have the original split-rims for both trucks (8 in all) and the 1972 has the original tires mounted on them! I really want to restore the original '65 rims and put those on the truck, but no one up here will mount tires on them. Has anyone else had any luck with this?

Welcome aboard, looks like a nice truck you've got.

I tired but I finally gave up on the split rims. Nobody wants to mess with them due to the chance of injury. I just put a set of stock 16s from a later model F-250 and mounted 16 X 7 GoodYear Mud/Snow tires on 'em. It's not bone stock but you really can't tell. I'm looking to keep it as stock as possible but I'll bend a bit!
