Slick 60's

Very nice!
A couple weeks ago i took my truck to a local show and a guy had almost the same truck(if not the exact truck) It was by far the best restoration there. Flawless!! I wanted to meet the owner by he was not around. My favorate part was how the dash and firewall were kinda/sorta one peice. If you look under the hood you are looking at the back of the guages and switches. I wish I had taken pics of it.
Later I saw the owner sitting there so i headed over, as i got closer i realized --- I KNOW THIS GUY.. He is the gentlemen that bought my 53 2 dr ranchwagon last winter. He said he has not started the wagon project but has purchased nearly every repair panel for it and plans to drop a 460 in it. I then felt much better about selling my first car to a guy who gives so much attention to detail. Definately the large weight and the lump in my stomach that i have carried since the day he took it had both been removed.

We have a place in Cartersville called Old Car City and he has a couple of Studs out in his yard. You should check out the site.

Studes are cool!! I picked up a 51 champion starlight coupe a couple of years ago, haven't had time to start on it yet but I've got plenty of ideas in my head. Join the Studebaker drivers club, they send out a great magazine every month with loads of info and vendor ads.

That looks cool. I am not into trucks that old (for the most part), but that doesn't matter.

thanks for the links fellas and all the compliments, I did check into the SDC but dont like the idea of sending out money for the membership, im sure I will eventually do that but not right now, I see the link to that
goonie posted has a 48 sitting there I might check back on that and see if the glass is good and if it is interchangeable, im sure it is but need to verify

If you need me to take a look at the truck just let me know. He has a Stude in a fence that is in great condition as well as other cars and trucks that are not on the website. I'am usually home by Friday.

Love the Studs....When I was 13 I traded a mini bike for a 52 pickup. I called it the STUD because half of the emblem was broken off. I wish you luck and I wish I still had that 52
