Eventually I wanna overhaul and go through everything. And thats the one thing I always hear about these 6's, is that they're pretty much immortal. Ideally after I go through the engines I was thinking dual exhaust and maybe a 2bbl or 4 bbl carb to liven it up a bit.Oregoon wrote:!Cool! 145K isn't even halfway there on a well-maintained motor, and for $300, why not? Have you or Ollie or anyone ever messed around with a six like this? I've been doin some research on it, and it seems like something simple to do to improve on it (if you got the $). Seems like it generally results in better performance, response, and possibly gas mileage. I just don't know if i'll need to upgrade the insides at all.
