only 4 years till the first slicks turn 50. youngest ones are all 40 now.
i know theres not much old iron left in some areas in the salvage yards , lots of places where you cant have extra vehicles laying around and lots of items, especially 4x4 and f350 that are not repopped so recycling these items will become more important as time passes.save what you can.

Not many in the salvage yards here in southern Ind. either .If nobody makes a certain reproduction body part, its going to get tough to repair a section like the side of the bed . I bought a 65 for parts and it just happened to have one good side, the one i needed. Maybe someone will start producing them someday. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

Be cool to find out who here in our club has the oldest and the newest Slick.

Everyday seems like less salvage yard finds are avaible; I'm seeing a slow reproduction of parts, but there directed more to F100's. I wish I could have the means to store & collect every Slick; sort of like a kennel!

Lowell I live in louisville (northern) KY and there is a junkyard here called Pull A Part. It is awesome the way it is setup. There are several across the US and they get a slick in every once in a while. I have got lots of parts their and they are cheep. You oughta check it out sometime it shouldnt be too far if you live in southern indiana. They even have a website. http://www.pullapart.com/
