If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

Very unique, and interesting. Unfortunately for me, I'm having trouble getting everything to download. Only got a glimps of the design, and makes me want to know more. Tried to contact them for more info, but couldsend my request.

Interesting. What I thought was unusual in the demo was that the pistons were on matching strokes. You'd think they'd be 180 degrees off to smooth out the power cycle.

File that under the "already been done" file.

I can't find the article but I belive it was NSU or some other obscure German or Italian motorcycle manufacturer that had an engine of the same design, except it was a two stroke race bike.

A few other manufacturers have done the same with the crankshafts, like Ariel for one.

The direct injection turbo diesel is novel!

You want see some weird engines? Check out some of the aircraft engines built during WWI. I've got a book with a bunch of that stuff, I'll try to load some pics here.

This isn't weird or differant, just cool. I guess it is a little off-topic, but I thought you guys would think it was pretty cool. It is about a motor. Check this out. Make sure you check out the video of it running.

Man, some of those are just crazy! That Napier thing is almost comical to see it working.

That little mini Hemi engine is just too cool, huh? I first saw that a couple years ago, before he had his website looking good. Pretty neat.

Oh and then there is this guy: http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory: ... _Tiny_(MYT)_Engine

He is making some bold claims. But you know the old proverb, "extrodinary claims require extrodinary evidence" and he is yet to deliver. There is a video of this thing running, but it isn't really running, it is being powerd by an outside compressed air source. Just look at the smoke roiling out of this thing, is it getting that hot just being pushed by compressed air?

I don't know what sort of VooDoo this guy uses to design his engine but he is claiming 150 MPG! I call shenannigans.

That triangle piston set up reminds me of a more complicated Wankel design. I wonder if the 3 crank shafts gear down to one? Can you imagine the torque?

Yeah they do, Generally used as a marine engine they have found their way into power generation and some locomotive use.
