has any one got a shroud for their 352? - LMC has them for the 43-3010 radiators, Jegs has them but wow! which one will work, been looking at making a template and having this guy make one but know it will be expensive and I'm trying to weigh my options, with all the work that's into the engine now just don't think the LMC plastic one's will look right.
All this is for pre planing for the "Wagon Train" trip to Slickstock next year,
you know, all those Texacans that won't be coming!

I'm not real sure what this one was bought for, I did a little trading and wound up with it. The guy I got it from has a 78 model F100, so it might have been he got it for his truck. I can find out specifically. I was kinda torn on using it, because it is all plastic and "new" looking like it doesn't quit fit in...but it's safer and will help with cooling. *shrug*

I'll have more pics later, I got kinda lazy on uploading and updating the build progress....gonna work on that later today.

But here's a quicky pic: Actually this is a really poor choice of a pic because it's not even attached at this point and it shows it lower than it really sits when screwed down in place. But it's the most complete pic I have that shows the shroud. I can take a better pic tonight.

thanks Ice, thought of that to,
Did the 66 models come with them at one time from the factory?
autokrafters said if I could give them the number of it then they could provide, guess they just don't understand that if you don't have one and can't get the number off it!
Uncle Skip is going to take me by a guy he knows that does custom sheet metal for hotrods and antiques, said he can make me one out of stainless

Yeah Mike, a stainless shroud would be "bitchin". I wish I had a "buddy" that did that kind of work. Always cool to make parts out of that stuff. TR

OK Skip, I know your out their watching quitely in the shadows, lets get this thing going,
I know you want to hand deliver me to the guy and that's nice of you but a phone call from you to him to do the intro might be easier on both of us? then I can call, and get the truck over there at my schedule which is crazy. everyone is already wanting to see pictures so time to take it out of the planning stage and move on.
Friday morning I have to go help a freind get his Ax un-stuck from a tree stump! then back to the house for getting the 66 ready for the Texas Coast Crusin car show on Saturday in Galveston leaving around 6;30 - 7, Sunday is golf and drinking, so maybe next Thursday?

Mike I have one of shrouds for the HD LMC radiator. I am going to use it, but if you would like to take it home and see if it fits, you are welcome to. I live just down the road from you in Dickinson. I have not met you but I do know Max, Skip and Richard.
