For those who are still building our trucks yours is probably more done than 90% of them. I for example am just starting stuff you had done years ago. You have a big model kit at this point JC, how can you not get it done in over a year?
I have 99% of my body work to do.
I have to redo & modify the entire driveline.
Mine will be at SS and not just because it's close.

I am glad you put that brick wall here -
gets it out of your head between you and your Merc.
If I were where you were this spring I'd be driving mine rather than working on it.
I've talked to you - your smarter than letting this beat you.
I'm not trying to be a smart arse here, you can get this done.

Truck or not, at least JC shows up. Not like people from Texas (do they really exist other than Lyman?) or those who collect map pockets.

The gauntlet has been laid.

That's until Slick Stock 27 or is it 28?

My eyes continue to focus on the Seconds part of the clock...talk about pressure! If that clock would stay in one spot as I move the page up and down, I would put a strip of black electrical tape over it.

bought a uni with a 6 to drive to ss next year.
got it right after last years event.

was not supposed to run.
it did, but instead of replacing the smoky engine i have been driving it.

needed a kick in the rear to get me going faster.

Been driving the 62 a lot this summer, it drives real nice and now I am really waffeling on the frame swap I've been talking about. So much so I have started to look for another 61 -63 short uni with no drive train so I won't have to take this one apart.
It will cost about the same to keep it original and restore it. That way I won't have a perfectly good Y block sitting around with nothing to do.
Ya I know, decisions, decisions. Make up my feeble mind already THE CLOCK IS RUNNING butbut.gif :dontknow:

That is why I went directly there from KC last year, thought I would get a head start. JC, quit fixing up that smart car and put your energy into the Merc.
