This would be TOO COOL! >HERE<
It would make a completely perfect car hauler, or I'd do like Leno did & make a people party hauler out of it. :D
The ad sez it's still got it's original paint, too.

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

Or > THIS < :notworthy:
Just taken out of service last October.
I wonder what sort of mileage I'd get in that thing, driving from Virginia to Utah? :P

the 330 will get you
6.5 mpg. fully overloaded.
drove a 76 bus with same engine 5k miles here.
also had 72 f600 towtruck.
5-6 mpg.

think i will go for the 2nd one with the 477 and high roof
then i can have a 69 slick.

this is more reasonable for long distance

this is close to you , not sure how many cliffs there are to throw it off but rest assured it will climb back up them no problem.

Anyone know how long they used the slick high top cab after the light dutys switched in 67? It would be very cool t have a 69 slick! The N's are also pretty cool, might be a little cleaner looking than the 850!?!

It is a '69? So you could get a '69 Slick or a '69 bumpside(in the heavy duty trucks, that is)? Hmmm... :hm:

That's a tough lookin' truck, alright. That would definitely separate the men from the boys !

Until a few years ago, I didn't know they made the high-top slicks past '66 either. It's like they had a bunch of extra unsold trucks kicking around, or something...so they kept restamping them with current year VIN's, until they were sold. :?: Odd.

Regardless, I'd still love to hace either one of those trucks. :thumright: Looks like it would cost a small fortune in gas to get one home, though.
