yea, the pics posted are of before i removed the whole clip. I managed to luck out and get the right inner and outer fender, rad support, rad, grilled and valences off in one foul swoop. it was so sweet.
kinda windering what to do now.... I think I'll get the engine ready to pull.
it kinda just falls into place as I go, its really actually pretty cool.
my mind is going a million miles a minute as what to do next.
wiring is a big one, and as I will be putting an FE motor in, Im wondering what I can do NOW to make my life easier THEN.

so, the front left frame horn is tweaked a bit, ( no biggie) but I noticed that the rad support mounting hole is quite a bit bigger and off round than the right side.... the mroe I think about it, the more I am wondering about a crown vic sub..... any ideas on this??

I wouldn't go with the CV sub frame, you will never be able to haul bales with it again.

The advantages of the CV is independent suspension, which is what you have with the twin I, unless you want to eliminate the problems with tire wear or trying to do a massive drop, I would just do some repairing and keep going.

cool! thanks,
I was having second thoughts on doing the sub. its a LOT of work.
I think I'll tweak it back into place and weld a plate in place of the rad support mount. (it was rotten for so long the constant shifting of the support rounded out the hole.)

so i've got all the surface prepped:
Image
i heated it up and twisted it back with a 36" pipe wrench. now that the bumper fits correctly, i am going to slice a huge hole in it!!!

i get my trusty plasma cutter out and slice a giant hole in the frame:

lol. man, i get it. i just can t afford to get one. plus i am lazy and easily amazed.
but seriously, you do good work. my core support holes looked almost as bad as those do, i just closed my eyes and pretended that they were good enough to use.
i think i need to buck up and do what's right- like you're doing.

looks really good! Both of mine look like that and I'm gonna have to do something about them. I'm not much on welding, but I'm gonna try it when I get to that point.
