Anybody know who's truck this is?

Post by 6Slick5 »

Hi All

Anybody know this truck? Nice looking truck.

I am not interested in buying it.

But it is the first one I have seen that claims to have an AOD behind a six.

And I would like to know what all went into the conversion.

Thanks!
Marty

A friend in northern Indiana has a 66 SWB with a 300 and AOD that is built exactly like I would want one. His first year to the Supernats in Knoxville, TN, he made it on one tank of gas! Icing on the cake would be the 3" lowered I-beams, wheels, and "arrest-me red" paint. http://badgerlandf100s.com/photos/main.php?g2_itemId=940

Those are both really nice looking trucks, either would make a great highway cruiser!

The underhood wiring's a mess on that eGouge truck. Other than that though, it looks very nice. :)

Nice looking truck. I could overlook the ratty wiring considering all the rest of the work that has been done. Doubt it will make reserve though.

I removed a rear bumper just like that from my longbed, only mine is rusty & needs cleanup & paint. Also I did not like the way the PO had bolted the front arms thru the sidewall of the bed :x Are bumpers like these common?

My 64 had a bumper similar to that, Doug. Back then, dealers installed bumpers with their name on them on the trucks that came without bumpers.
