The 05 GT isn't for sale the 64 short is. I just talked to a local High School about donating it to them as a shop project. The siggy makes it look a little funny.

I had a Satin 05 Premium for about a year, traded it for my present F150. I looked at Shelbys, but can't swallow that 15K markup that is lost as soon as you cross the threshold of the lot. What does a Roush stage 3 go for?

The rousch stage 3 is only like 5 grand less than the shelby with the 15k markup My dad chose the shelby because of the hand built motor, more exclusivity, its an actual ford factory car and not a tuner car. His reasoning is while a care is not a sound investment vehicle in most cases, he felt the shelby would have a higher resale value later.

there has been a fair amount of talk in my Stang forum about which is better. I kinda sum it up this way, If you want the better performance, Roush, for collectability get the GT500.

I know the Shelby will almost never reduce in price. I have to wonder whether the Steeda and Roush cars will be like the Holman-Moody and other cars prepared for Ford in the sixties.. not quite up to the skyrocketing value of Shelby's.

It's not really about the performance of Shelby's, its about the legend. The GT-350's were only a mild performer over stock Mustangs, and yet continue to increase in price.

Love that Bullitt Clone.. drool :D
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
