Looks similar, but not the one I know of. There's a guy near Lake Limestone (Limestone County) who drives one, and is building another. Might have built this one, too. Has the same odd looking rear side window.

He says it's a 64 but I thought Unis stopped in 63. Maybe he started with a gutted Uni and added 64 parts to finish.

Yea, I thought about the bashing too. Didn't mean to say it like that, just my own 1.00025 cents worth of opinion that's all. It's just too weird looking for my taste.

We had a few South American members on the old old site that posted some strange (to us) Unibody based trucks that were up into the 70's in model years...could this be one of the Brazil trucks?

Funky.
The cab extension looks a lot like this one...see the small side window?
BTW, this pic was on eGouge a few years ago, that's all I know.
The side trim looks like that vinyl stick-on crap from J.C.Whitney.

*EDIT* Ok, now I'm noticing more similarities between these two...
The red one is; obviously a Uni, has the 3-bolt front bumper ('64 & earlier style) & twin I-beam fender badge.

The blue one is; obviously a Uni, has leaf springs on the front end ('64 & earlier style) & twin I-beam style fender badge.

The blue one seems to have a '65 Chebby (upside down style) front bumper, but that could have been slapped on by anyone. I wonder what the grille looks like?
They both seem to have about the same size rear fenders.

Maybe they are production trucks from another country? :hm:

I'm telling you, there's a guy down here building them. I see him driving one quite frequently, and I stopped by the welding shop down the road from work (in Mexia) where another was getting some finish-up done to the fenders and windows.

But, I don't know a thing from nothin".

Those Texans sure are a bunch of wierdos----Oh wait, what I mean is great truck, good craftmanship, must have been built by a genius. LOL Actualy, It might be nice as a one ton dually heavy work truck. I am just not sure I like it as is. In any event it seems like a great buy at that price if you like it. Thanks, Lyman.

It looks like someone has come up with an idea  building his idea and there's a market for it. :?: Like the trucks or not they are probley turning a profit. There's the red one, the blue and white one amd Mike Carson has seen a third one being built. I have some ideas but havent done any of them yet and havent made a dime yet. :bangin:
